 Project 2

With the design I had, I had to export a Gcode and print out with Prusa slicer, pen attached. It was quite excited but also a bit difficult to do so, I had to experience how to put G code. Learning how to use new program and use Grasshopper in 2D version, I was having great idea of drawing things with machine.


Some Process of pen working on the paper it went quite fast, and with the limit of light, it lost some focal point... But yeah! it was excited to see how it moves and draw on the paper.


First final that I made was a bit strange cause, it drew every single line that G code was putted, but also connected line as machine finds every line to be connected. 
Then I noticed that I should upper the Z axis so that pen will not touch the paper when it moves to other part of the shape.


Final!! I am quite satisfied with the colour and like the way how it looks. 
The bird itself worked well and the line of red colour looks so cool.
First time to try this, and it was interesting to learn and give it a try.

Project 2 Learning this pattern was quite interesting but a bit difficult to understand process. Adding patterns as shape looks like and adding how much lines are in, gave me great idea. Not just looking at shapes of patterns, but also some idea of pattern in object was interesting. 4 different patterns that is being created were complicated but also great point. And most important, grouping and arrange neatly was really benefit for me. I was thinking about many objects or random shapes that I can use for this project.  Then I noticed that I can use the idea of flying bird and there patterns when flying. Which was really having connection in "pattern" and work well in design. The process, along with the result worked well but I had trouble with saving. But overall was great experiment with nice patterns inside the bird.

Huge size Robotic drawing (part 3)

 Project 3 As I came to draw some patterns, I wanted to explore more of pattern that has been connected to each other. And using some object shape and filling inside, I tried to get difference among patterns. Some design of wine glass and have done nicely done with simplify it. Final design with pattern, it worked well with having distinct idea of part that looks dark and bright. I really liked to see how it goes when I draw with CNC machine! Setting up the machine but noticed there some problems. First was "move off limit switches..." I did not notice what it meant at first. But I found that the x and y axis were touching the end, which means it was touching the sensor. So I had to off limit and redo the x,y, and z home (re setting 0). The other problem was that the paper was so big and it had fluffy part which gave me cut line. Or even a bit of shaky line, so I had to lower down z axis one more time and change all the z5 to z10 in the Gcode to make it safe to jog around the...

Project1_My first definition

 Project 1 It was my first time to learn Grasshopper in Rhino and I was so much excited about it. In fact, as I learn this application, I noticed that this is like code of computer. You input some process that computer wants to make and in the end, there comes the result. These processes were quite interesting to me and thought of using in more accurate work. And learning this allowed me to learn new technology and using it in my works. In class work Through the work and demo that was taken in class, I liked the way how it went with some patterns that was created with circle and explore the way how it goes with process and outcome. 8 Demos with video Although some were difficult, I liked the process and see the result of it.
